What are UVC LED Disinfection Systems?
UVC LEDs belong to the category of light-emitting diodes that produce ultraviolet light within the UVC wave.
The emitted UVC light is recognized for its capacity to inactivate bacteria, viruses, and various other microorganisms. UV-C can be used effectively as a disinfectant to kill microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses in water.
In the water purification process, UVC light is used to inactivate the DNA and RNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. This inhibits the ability to multiply, thus rendering the pathogens harmless. It is effective against E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Legionella, Staphylococcus aureus, COVID-19, influenza, norovirus.
